The soccer season has come and gone

But here are some of the photo highlights:

The girls (and the side of Nate's head) on the morning of their last games.
Brenna driving one in during the pre-game warm up. While she was a major contributor to the team, she was not the scoring menace that she was last year, when she scored as many as 6 goals a game. It's tough moving up to the next age level, but she made some big progress and was still a solid little player. Still warming up (I never got any good in-game shots).

Running after the ball, which is all we asked from our sweet little Ava. She was the youngest one on her team and it showed, but she loved playing. She had one quarter in the 5th game of the season, when everything "clicked". She chased the ball down, she passed to her teammates, she was aware of everything happening on the field, I think she even attempted a goal. Then she sat down for a water break and we never saw that Ava again, but we have hope that somewhere she still exists!
